National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus
 The National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus was created in accordance with the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 609 of December 16, 2002 “On the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus and on Introducing Changes and Amendments to the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 524 of October 30, 1998”.As a result, the National Legal Internet Portal was developed as the main Internet resource of state information in the field of law and legal information. The base of content of this portal is legal information, however, scientific, practical, educational, referential and other types of information in the sphere of law are also placed on the portal, which are created and managed by the NCLI.
The establishment of the National Legal Internet Portal corresponds with world tendencies to develop of information technologies in law. Its aim is to increase the efficiency of use of modern information technologies, important for the purposes of ensuring the citizens’ constitutional right to receive full and reliable legal information, while presenting practical solutions to problems related to cooperation between state bodies, other organizations and citizens in the legal sphere. |
