Belarus President reviews plans for further optimization of government bodies
MINSK (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Head of the Belarus President Administration Natalia Kochanova discussed the plans for the further optimization of government bodies, BelTA has learned.
“Salaries [of public officials] should not be raised until the government bodies are optimized. This is what we have agreed upon,” the president noted.
Natalia Kochanova remarked that the Belarus President Administration has already been updated and started working in the new format. These measures have been introduced in a timely manner.
The government has enacted all regulatory acts required to continue this process in other government bodies. “Relevant acts and schedule of optimization have been adopted. We will report on the progress of optimization in 2017 till 1 December,” Natalia Kochanova said.
