Dear soldiers, sergeants, warrant officers, and officers,

Dear veterans,

Dear compatriots,

I congratulate you on the Day of Fatherland Defenders and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

This holiday is a symbol of loyalty to the military duty and the commitment of the Belarusian nation to protecting the freedom and independence of our Homeland.

We appreciate the feat of our compatriots who selflessly protected the native land from invaders during the war and did their best to ensure the security of the Homeland in peaceful years; we are proud of the courage of internationalist soldiers who stood against international terrorism.

In the current situation of global instability Belarus serves as an example of the consistent peace-loving policy and the firm resolution to protect its national interests. The modern Armed Forces, other military and paramilitary organizations are a guarantor of protection from possible aggressions. The strong Belarusian army does not allow anyone to talk to us from the position of strength
