Belarus, Niger establish diplomatic relations

MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – Documents to establish diplomatic relations between Belarus and Niger took place in New York on 29 March, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told BelTA.
The joint communique on the establishment of diplomatic relations was signed by Belarus’ resident representative in the UN Andrei Dapkyunas and Niger’s resident representative in UN Boubacar Boureima.
The sides confirmed their intention to bolster cooperation, promote ties based on equality and mutual respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-interference in internal affairs of every state.
The heads of the diplomatic missions of Belarus and Niger pointed out the need to step up cooperation in the international arena, including cooperation for implementing joint projects involving the Belarusian mission in the United Nations Organization.
