Government approved Regulations on the control of radioactive contamination

The Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 20 February 2020 No 102 approved the Regulations on the control of radioactive contamination, the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.

The Regulations define the goals, objectives, principles and requirements for the organization and implementation of radioactive contamination control in connection with the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the functioning of the radioactive contamination control system, the interaction of its constituent entities, and the provision of information on the results of radioactive contamination control.

The Resolution was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 22 February 2020 and entered into force from 24 February 2020.
