Government approved Regulations on the procedure for visiting the visa-free territory "Brest-Grodno" by citizens of certain countries

Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 14 October 2019 No. 699 approved the Regulations on the procedure for visiting the visa-free territory "Brest-Grodno", the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.

The Regulations determine the procedure for visiting the visa-free territory "Brest-Grodno" by citizens of the states defined in Appendix 1 to the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 7 August 2019 No 300 for tourist purposes for a period of up to fifteen days. According to the Regulations, foreign nationals may entry the visa-free territory on the basis of a valid passport or other document intended for traveling abroad and a document confirming the right to visit the visa-free territory issued by an authorized tourist organization, provided that information about such a document is available in the automated border control system.

The Resolution was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 18 October 2019 and enters into force from 10 November 2019.
