President approved CIS Convention on the Exploration and Use of Outer Space for Peaceful Purposes
The Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 1 April 2019 No. 127 approved the Convention of the Commonwealth of Independent States on the Exploration and Use of Outer Space for Peaceful Purposes signed in Dushanbe on 28 September 2018, the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.
The Convention creates a legal basis for cooperation of the CIS countries in the sphere of exploration of the outer space, including issues of utilization of space debris, providing coordinate-time and navigation support, manned space flights.
The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 3 April 2019 and entered into force from the day of its signing.
