Aviation inspectorate to be created in Belarus

According to the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 4 September 2019 No. 328, the Ministry of Transport and Communications shall create until December 1, 2019 a state institution "Aviation Inspectorate", the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus informs.

The Aviation Inspectorate will be an inspectorate body in the field of civil aviation and shall exercise control over the flight safety of aircraft and the aviation safety in the field of civil aviation, within the framework of commitments assumed in accordance with international treaties of the Republic of Belarus. The Aviation Inspectorate will be subordinate to the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 4 September 2019 and entered into force after its official publication.
