President signed the Edict establishing the rates of some taxes for 2018

Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 25 January 2018 No. 29 “On taxation” established new rates of some taxes for 2018. In particularly the Edict established the rates of excises (effective from 1 February 2018), rates of the land tax on agricultural lands for agricultural purposes, average rates of the land tax, rates of the ecological tax, rates of the tax for extraction (removal) of natural resources, base rates of the single tax from individual entrepreneurs and natural persons.

The Edict also determined the procedure for putting on record in tax bodies of foreign organizations rendering services in electronic form to natural persons in the Republic of Belarus.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 26 January 2018, its main provisions entered into force after the official publication and cover relations arisen from 1 January 2018.
