New amendments of the Criminal Procedural Code of the Republic Belarus adopted
The Law of the Republic of Belarus of 8 January 2018 amended the Criminal Procedural Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The adopted amendments provide that a witness involved in pre-trial investigation of criminal cases has the right to invite an advocate in order to receive a legal advice during procedural actions held with the participation of the witness.
The Law was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 20 January 2018 and enters into force in ten days after its official publication.
