Belarus passed the Law on specially protected natural territories

The Law of the Republic of Belarus «On specially protected natural territories» of 15 November 2018 defines the legal basis for declaring, functioning, transformation, termination of the functioning, protection and use of specially protected natural territories and provides description of their types. It is aimed at preserving and restoring valuable natural complexes and objects.

The Law was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 13 December 2018 and enters into force in six months after its official publication.
