President approved regulations on tax consulting

Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 19 September 2017 No 338 approved Regulations on tax consulting. According to Regulations, tax consulting may be carried out by tax consultants registered as individual entrepreneurs or by commercial organizations employing at least one tax consultant. The Regulations also provide that a person intending to become a tax consultant must pass a qualification exam to be held by the Ministry of Finance and become a member of a self-regulatory organization of tax consultants.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 23 September 2017, and its main provisions enter into force in three months after its official publication.
