Procedure for carrying out controlling (supervising) activity is to be amended

Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 16 October 2017 No 376 “On measures on improvement of controlling (supervising) activity” introduces large-scale amendments in the procedure for carrying out controlling (supervising) activity. According to amendments, the number of inspections of economic entities is to be considerably reduced, as well as the powers of state agencies authorized to perform such inspections.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 18 October 2017, and its main provisions enter into force from 1 January 2018.
