New regulations concerning export control in relation to specific goods adopted

Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 28 February 2017 No 49 approved Regulations on the order of granting to legal persons the right to carry out foreign-trade or intermediary activity in relation to specific goods (works, services); Regulations on the order of state regulation of importation of specific goods (works, services), exportation of export control objects, carrying out intermediary activity in relation to export control objects; Regulations on the order of conducting identification; Regulations on the order of formalizing obligations on use of imported specific goods (works, services); Regulations on the order of organizing state control over fulfillment of obligations on use of imported (exported) specific goods (works, services) for declared purposes.

The Edict also determined the competence of bodies of state administration and other state organizations, involved in the process of carrying out state export control.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 10 March 2017 and entered into force after its official publication.
