Criteria for determining environmentally hazardous activities modified

The Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 8 February 2016 No. 34 provided a new wording of criteria for referring economic and other activity affecting the environment to environmentally hazardous activity, which were approved by the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 24 June 2008 No 349 with a view of preventing and ensuring the compensation of the damage caused to the environment.

The Edict was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 12 February 2016 and entered into force on 13 February 2016.
