President Lukashenko signed decree on foreign gratuitous aid

The Decree of 31 August 2015 № 5 introduces the Regulation on the order of receipt, record, registration, use of foreign gratuitous aid, monitoring its receipt and intended use, as well as the order of registration of humanitarian programs.

The Regulation establishes a list of objectives for which foreign gratuitous aid can be used: elimination of consequences of emergency situations, research programs, protection of historical and cultural heritage, medical aid and social assistance to citizens.

The Decree was officially published in Russian on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 3 September 2015 and its main provisions enter into force in six months after its official publication.
