New Forest Code to be adopted in Belarus

A new Forest Code has been approved in first reading by the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. According to the Resolution of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of 22 October 2014, which has been published on the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus on 28 October 2014, the draft of the Forest Code is to be presented for voting in second reading during the sixth session of the House of Representatives. 

The Forest Code that is now in force was signed into law on 14 July 2000.
