Prosecutor-general's offices of Belarus and Cuba sign cooperation agreement

A cooperation agreement between the prosecutor-general’s offices of Belarus and Cuba has been signed in Minsk as of 16 September 2013. The document is expected to help advance Belarus-Cuba relations to the level of strategic partnership.

The cooperation agreement between the prosecutor-general’s offices of Belarus and Cuba envisages practical efforts to combat crime, protect the rights and basic freedoms of people. The prosecutor-general’s offices of the two countries will hold consultations on legal matters, share best practices in combating crime, including organized crime, terrorism, corruption, illegal trade in weapons, narcotic drugs, illegal migration, human trafficking, economic crimes and IT crimes and other types of crime.
