New measures for facilitating the implementation of investment projects approved

According to Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 488 of 28 October 2013 amending the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 488 of 16 April 2012 "On some measures to develop pharmaceutical industry”, new benefits on payment of customs duties and value added tax are provided for legal persons involved in the implementation of investment projects in pharmaceutical industry. In particular goods intended for implementation of the mentioned projects, according to the list approved by the Edict, are exempted from customs duties and value added tax from 1 January 2012 till 31 December 2017.
The Edict enters into force from 30 October 2013.
