Amendments into the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On republican and local meetings” approved

The Law of the Republic of Belarus "On republican and local meetings” of 12 July 2000 was amended and restated in its entirety in a new wording by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 4 November 2013 No 70-Z. According to the amended law republican and local meetings constitute the main form of a direct participation of citizens of the Republic of Belarus in governing society and state affairs.
The amendments will enter into force in three months after the official publication of the Law of 4 November 2013.
