Belarus, Indonesia sign a set of cooperation agreements

Belarus and Indonesia have signed a package of documents aimed at intensifying the bilateral cooperation on 19 March during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

The sides signed a protocol to the intergovernmental agreement on economic and technical cooperation. They also concluded intergovernmental agreements to expand cooperation in science and technologies, defense industry, as well as the agreement to avoid double taxation.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus and the National Disaster Management Agency of Indonesia signed a memorandum of understanding to boost cooperation in emergency response and mitigation. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Indonesia concluded a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the legal field. A memorandum of cooperation in agriculture was also signed.

A memorandum of understanding in innovations was signed by the technological cluster Politekhnik of the Belarusian National Technical University and the Indonesian Institute of Sciences.
