Organization of control procedure at border crossings to be improved

According to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 24 April 2013 No 309, the States Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus is to be granted additional powers in organizing the automobile (transportation), veterinary, phytosanitary, and quarantine and sanitary control over natural persons, transportation means, and goods at crossings through the state border of the Republic of Belarus. It will coordinate activities of all services involved in carrying out the said types of control.
The Resolution enters into force from 1 May 2013.
