New measures for stimulating export from Belarus approved

The Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 6 March 2012 No 126 amending the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 25 August 2006 No 534 “On facilitating the export of goods (works, services)” provides that banks may grant credits in Belarusian rubles to domestic producers of goods (works, services) intended for export and to foreign organizations, including banks, for making payments for the goods (works, services) realized by the residents of the Republic of Belarus.
The Edict enters into force in three months after its official publication.
